- Oopiri earned more than Million USD in ts first week, it is only the fourth Telugu movie to achieve that.
- Oopiri was released on 500 screens in Andhra Pradesh and 200 screens in Telangana
- NTR junior was selected for the role at first, with Nagarjuna for the other lead, however NTR junior had to give up because of schedule conflict, Karthi had to be brought in
- Oopiri was the eight highest grossing Telugu film in the USA by the 10th day and the fourth highest grossing by the end of 3rd week
- The wheelchair used in the film for the role of Vikramaditya was imported from Sweden for the cost of 25 Lakhs.
