Biography

Anushree is a multi-talented personality. Who is well known for her appearance on Kannada TV. She has been an anchor of many famous kannada shows. She also acts in Movies. At first she appeared in minor roles, now she appears as a lead actress.

Childhood

She was born to Sampath (father) & Shashikala(mother) in Mangalore town of Karnataka. Abhijeeth is her younger brother. Her parents separated when she was young, she along with her brother were brought up by her mom.

Career

She started her career  as soon as she finished her PUC as an achor in a Mangalore based TV channel "Namma Tv" a channel owned by Shivsharan Shetty brother of popular kannada music director Gurukiran. Later when she had offers in Bangalore, she decided to go for it even though the pay was as less as 250 Rs per episode those days. Later she appeared in the mainstream kannada channels like "ETV Kannada", "Kasturi", "Zee Kannada",  "Suvarna TV" and so on.

Bigg boss Kannada: She also participated in the first season of "Big Bass Kannada" along with Vijay Raghavendra, Arun Sagar, Nikita Thukral , Narendra Babu and others. She lasted 12 weeks and was eliminated as the 6th last

Director Shashank had approached her for a role in hit movie "Moggina Manasu", but she was too hesitant to act in films back in her early days.

Anushree had appeared in few minor roles, had worked as a dubbing artist until she made a proper debut in "Benkipatna". she has acted in movies like Benkipatna, Ring Master, Uttama Villain, Madha Mathu Manasi, Uppu Huli Khaara
