Biography
Sukanya is a South Indian actress, singer, music composer, Bharatanatyam danseuse and voice actor. She has acted in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu movies, and one of the main stream heroine from 1991 to 1997 and as a supporting actress from 2000 with a total of over 24 years of experience in the entertainment industry. She has composed two devotional albums namely Azhagu, Thirupathi Thirukudai Thiruvizha.She has won five Best Actress Filmfare awards for her performance in Tamil films including Puthu Nellu Puthu Nathu, Walter Vetrivel and Rajarajan.
