Rajeevan Nambiar is a graduate from the Loyola College, Chennai.
Rajeevan's father was an educationist and he wanted his son to follow him, when Rajeevan did not, they were not on talking terms for 6 years.
His admires works of fellow Art directors like - Chanda, Sabu Cyril, Thota Tharrani, Muthuraj, Prabhakar
He used to do canvas painting, which he hasn't done recently because of schedules.
Rajeevan is the only Child of his parents, he is married and has two daughters.
Rajeevan's career in art direction started with AD films, Documentaries & TV serials.
On an occasion he worked continuously for 56 hours.
He regularly works with director Gautham Menon, ever since their first collaboration in Kaakha Kaakha
Rajeevan has had fascination for theatre and movies since youth.
Rajeevan was recognized for his work in the movie Parthiban Kanavu (2003), it brought him to the light
