Ram Pothineni is an Indian film actor from the Telugu film industry. He has acted in few Tamil short movies as well.

Childhood, Family & Personal Life

Ram Pothineni was born on Sunday, 15 May 1988 in Hyderabad, Telangana to Murali Mohan Pothineni(Father) & Padmasree Pothineni(Mother). His parents belong to Kamma caste/community.

He has a sister in Madhu Smitha Pothineni.

His uncle Sravanthi Ravi Kishore, is a famous Telugu movie producer.

Career

Debut: Adayaalam(2002) a Tamil short movie was Ram's first big acting project. He had started acting when he was just 12.

Movie Debut: Devadasu (2006), a romantic movie with debutant Ileana D'Cruz directed by Y.V.S Chowdary was his first movie as a lead actor. It was super hit, it ran for 175 days in 17 centers.
