| Biography Vani Ganapathy is an Indian classical danseuse. She is trained in Bharatanatyam and is considered a foremost exponent of the dance form. In 1978, Vani married actor Kamal Haasan. They divorced ten years later. She started training age of three in Calcutta under T. A. Rajalakshmi. She moved to Bombay when she was young and started studying under Pillai. She started performing when she was seven. She travelled across the world for her performances. She lives in Bangalore, where she set up Sanchari, a dance academy. | |
