Biography Vimala Raman is an Indian film actress and model who has worked in all South Indian film industries, and predominantly appears in Telugu and Malayalam films. She made her debut in 2005 with Tamil film Poi. An established Bharatanatyam dancer and a graduate in Bsc Information Systems from the University Of New South Wales, Sydney, Raman had also won the titles of "Miss India Australia" in 2004 and "Miss India Worldwide - Beautiful Face" in 2005.
