His name Gaddar is derived from Gadar party which oposed British rule in 1910 Punjab
Assassination attempt: There was an assassination attempt on him in April 1997, he was shot three bullets, he survived it. He was hospitalized at Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences
In 1969 there was a movement for the separation of Telangana from Andhra Pradesh, Gadar was involved with it even back then, when the agitation re started in 2000s he was involved with it as well.
Gadar became close with B Narsing Rao, the film director, the director was close to Communist party of India and that influenced Gadar as well
