| Story Summary | A school master loses his first wife (kalpana) during her labor, life becomes difficult for Murthy as he has to manage both work and the baby. The baby is declared deaf by the doctor. His friendly neighbors who helped him take care of the baby get transferred to Bangalore. He intentionally marries a deaf-girl second time so that he can be of support to her. |
