| Story Summary | The story begins with Haralayya (Sridhar) a cobbler who is an ardent follower of Basavanna (Ramesh) for his philosophical approach. Basavanna is also a minister and he takes a big step by giving forward caste recognition to Haralayya. In return, Haralayya decides to gift a pair of sandals stitched from the thigh flesh of his and his wife. Basavayya takes it but puts it on his head and later returns it to Haralayya.
