Mamta Mohandas is an film actress and singer. She mainly acts in Malayalam language, her mother tongue. Other than that she has acted in other South Indian languages like Tamil, Telugu & Kannada. She is a singer as well and has earned fame for her singing talents.

Mamta Mohandas was born on Thursday, 14 November 1985 to Ambalappat Mohandas(Father) and Ganga Mohandas(Mother) a Malayali family hailing from Kannur. Her father is a banker, he works with Meryl Lynch & Bank of America.

Movie Debut: Mayookham(2005), a Malayalam movie directed by T. Hariharan with Saiju Kurup, Mamta Mohandas, Sai Kumar was her debut movie.

Tamil Debut: Sivappathigaram(2006), a political thriller directed Karu Pazhaniappan was her debut movie in Tamil.

Singing Career: She is trained in Carnatic & Hindustani music. she lent her voice for the title track "Rakhi Rakhi" of the movie Rakhi (2006). She won best female singer award for the song.
